Dim Sclichter
Drums, percussion
Dim was raised by dogs in the woods of Pennsylvania. Things could
only get better, so trying to move up in life he studied jazz and
classical percussion at North Texas State University. He soon discovered
his tremendous talent for the theatre going on tour with such shows
as "The Rocky Horror Show, "Buddy! and "The
Will Rogers Follies, but also playing with African saxophonist
Daoud Balewa and percussionist Frederico from "Touch of Truth".
A true connoisseur of incredibly strange music, he is constantly in
search of new and exciting ways to eek rhythms out of a myriad of
sources in a Dadaistic approach to tone production. Dims present
band is "Termites at Work" a wild mixture of jazz, folk
and magical voodoo sounds.
